Always turn off the projector when not in use. Just closing the cover does not mean that the projector is off. One projector bulb costs hundreds to replace. So try to make it last as long as possible.
Dust the projector as needed.
Make sure that nothing is blocking the air vents around the presenter so that it does not get overheated.
If a yellow warning comes on the screen about cleaning the air filter, do not panic. There is a flat tray under the lense of the projector that slides out. Clean out the dust from the air filter and reinsert it. Be sure to pay attention to which side was up when you pull it out, so that you will know how to put it back in. If you are not comfortable with doing this, ask your eCoach or Computer Technician.
